Current residents of SFrent may request a transfer after at least 6 months stay in their current unit. Once a transfer request is received, you should be informed of a decision within 48 hours. Please note that while we make all attempts to accommodate all transfer requests received, we may be unable to approve your request. Also take note of the following:

1. Any unused rent and security deposit for current apartment will be transferred to new apartment
2. A new year lease will be required for the new unit (short-term lease available at current premiums)
   
3. If it has been more than 6 months since you applied, we will need updated two most recent bank statements and paystubs in order to financially re-qualify you for the new unit (no new application fee required)
   
4. If a co-signer is present on your current unit, new guarantor agreement must be completed for new unit
5. Any make-ready cost on the old unit will be billed to you following your transfer
6. Transfer fees as follows:
   
   a. first transfer is free
   b. second within a year is $100
   c. third within a year is $200
