We love animals and are glad you do too! Having a pet is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. Caring for a pet means taking the life and well-being of another sentient being into our hands. An urban apartment building is not always the ideal environment for a large animal.  This can be alleviated by being extra-sensitive to all of an animal's needs so they are happy.

As a responsible pet guardian/companion in an SFrent building, please remember that it is YOUR responsibility to make sure your pet does not disturb other tenants in the building.  Certain steps should be taken to ensure the comfort and well-being of your pet and neighbors.  To alleviate loneliness and deter barking, howling and whining while you are away, we suggest taking the following steps.

1. Take your pet on long walks before you leave for school or work, and upon returning in the evening.
2. Keep your pet in an area with distractions to alleviate pet boredom.
3. Hire a dog sitter or walker.

If you would like to have a pet in your units, please send in the forms below. In addition to these documents, please email 2-3 digital pictures of each pet in jpg format to marketing@sfrent.net.

If you see animals running loose on the property, please call animal control services immediately. If they are aggressive, threatening or dangerous, please call 911 Emergency  Services.
